Last updated: 14 October 2026 This Amazon Privacy Policy explains how TeqStars Technologies ("TeqStars", "we", "us") intends to collect, use, protect, share, retain and delete information relating to the TeqStars Amazon Odoo Connector. The Connector is currently being developed to integrate authorized Amazon seller accounts with Odoo ERP using Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API). This notice describes the planned service and will be reviewed before production launch to reflect the final implementation. ## Scope of This Policy This policy explains how we handle Amazon seller authorization details and marketplace information accessed through our Amazon Odoo Connector. It should be read alongside our [general Privacy Policy](https://teqstars.com/privacy-policy), which covers website visitors, purchases, and customer support services. ## Information We Intend to Access Depending on the seller's authorization and Amazon-approved SP-API roles, the Connector may process the following categories of information: - Seller authorization data, including Amazon seller and marketplace identifiers, authorization status, OAuth tokens, and the information needed to associate an authorized seller with the correct Odoo environment. - Limited technical information needed to operate and secure the integration, such as connection status, timestamps, API request identifiers and error or security logs. - Permitted marketplace business data, such as products, listings, prices, inventory, non-restricted order and return information, FBA inventory and fulfillment information, and financial transactions including fees, refunds, adjustments and settlement-related records. Access will be limited to the roles and data Amazon approves. The initial application does not request restricted buyer personal information. If future functionality requires restricted data, TeqStars will obtain the necessary Amazon permissions and update its practices and disclosures before enabling that functionality. ## Seller Authorization and Credentials Each Amazon seller will authorize the Connector through Amazon's official Login with Amazon (LWA) OAuth process. Sellers will not need to provide their Seller Central passwords to TeqStars. Our planned authorization service will receive and manage the authorization information necessary to obtain access tokens for that seller. Sellers may revoke application authorization through the relevant Amazon controls. The planned authorization service will store seller authorization credentials in encrypted form, restrict access to authorized systems and personnel, and transmit credentials only over secure encrypted connections. The LWA application secret will not be distributed within publicly installed Odoo module files. These safeguards must be in place before production credentials or seller information are processed. ## How Amazon Marketplace Data Will Flow We plan to host the central OAuth authorization service on a TeqStars-managed virtual private server provided by Hostinger. This service will process authorization credentials and limited technical information necessary to connect each authorized seller account. Amazon marketplace transaction data is intended to synchronize directly between Amazon SP-API and the authorized seller's Odoo environment over secure HTTPS connections. Product, order, inventory, return and financial records will be stored and processed in that seller's Odoo database, not routed through our central authorization service. The authorization service may retain limited authorization and operational logs required for security and troubleshooting, but is not intended to store complete marketplace transaction payloads. ## Purpose and Permitted Use Amazon Information will be used to establish and maintain seller-authorized connections, synchronize permitted marketplace information with Odoo, troubleshoot integration errors, safeguard the service and provide support requested by the seller. We will not use Amazon buyer or seller data obtained through SP-API for advertising, unsolicited marketing, unrelated profiling or sale to data brokers. Seller data will not be made available to other unrelated sellers. ## Hosting Providers and Information Sharing Hostinger will provide infrastructure for the central OAuth service and may process information hosted there as part of that service. A seller's Odoo database may be hosted on the seller's own infrastructure or by a provider selected by the seller, including Odoo S.A. through Odoo.sh. The seller's selected hosting provider may store or process the Amazon Information synchronized to that environment. We will limit access to authorized users, systems and necessary providers, with appropriate contractual and security safeguards where applicable. We do not intend to disclose Amazon Information to unrelated businesses or advertising services. Any additional provider that needs to process Amazon Information through our service will be assessed and disclosed as required before being used. Information may also be disclosed where legally required, subject to Amazon's applicable policies. ## Security Measures The Connector and authorization service are intended to use HTTPS/TLS for data transmission, encryption for stored API credentials, least-privilege access controls, appropriate monitoring and incident response procedures. Only personnel with an authorized business need should access Amazon Information. We will review the implemented security measures against Amazon's Data Protection Policy before production launch and maintain controls relevant to the data and environments under our management. ## Data Retention and Secure Deletion Amazon Information will be retained only for as long as necessary for its permitted purpose or as required by applicable law. TeqStars will apply Amazon's current Data Protection Policy retention and deletion requirements to authorization data and information held in TeqStars-managed systems, including applicable backups and copies. When Amazon requires deletion, seller authorization is revoked, or our access is otherwise terminated, we will stop retrieving new information under that authorization and securely delete Amazon Information under our control within the applicable deadline, generally within 30 days of the relevant trigger, unless a specific legal, tax or regulatory obligation requires retention. Information retained under a legal exception must remain appropriately protected and must not be used for other purposes. Data synchronized to a customer-managed Odoo environment must also be retained, protected and deleted in accordance with applicable Amazon requirements. Because customers select and control their own Odoo hosting, the production Connector will need documented retention and deletion procedures for those environments, including relevant backups. Customer-managed hosting does not itself waive Amazon data-protection obligations. If restricted buyer personal information is added in the future, additional retention and deletion limits will apply. ## Revocation and Seller Controls Sellers may revoke the Connector's authorization through Amazon. We will use authorization status to prevent further access when authorization has ended and provide information about requesting deletion of data under TeqStars' control. Sellers can also contact us about the data processed in connection with their authorized integration.
