These Amazon Connector Terms & Conditions describe the intended use of the TeqStars Amazon Odoo Connector (the "Connector"), a planned integration between Amazon Seller Central and Odoo ERP using Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API). The Connector is being developed for authorized sellers' business operations. Once available, its use will be subject to these Terms, the applicable software license or service agreement, and Amazon's requirements. This page does not mean that the Connector is already available or approved by Amazon.
Permitted Business Use and Licensing
Subject to the applicable TeqStars license and Amazon authorization, sellers may use the Connector to manage their own legitimate commercial operations in Odoo. Unauthorized resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or sharing of the Connector with unrelated parties is not permitted. Customer-specific modifications, implementation and support are governed by the relevant license or written service agreement.
Amazon Seller Authorization
Each seller will authorize the public Connector application through Amazon's official OAuth/Login with Amazon (LWA) authorization process. Sellers must not provide their Seller Central passwords to TeqStars. Access will be limited to the seller's authorization and the SP-API roles approved by Amazon. Sellers can revoke application access using the relevant Amazon controls. Additional roles or reauthorization may be required for future functionality.
Planned Integration Functionality
The Connector is intended to support permitted product listings, marketplace pricing, inventory and non-restricted order tracking, return information, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) information, and financial transactions such as refunds, fees and settlement-related data. Availability of individual functions will depend on development, Amazon API availability, approved permissions, marketplace, Odoo version and configuration. Restricted buyer personal information will not be accessed without the required Amazon permissions and safeguards.
Hosting and Data Flow
TeqStars plans to operate a central OAuth authorization service on a TeqStars-managed virtual private server hosted by Hostinger. The service will handle seller authorization information and securely protected API credentials. Amazon marketplace business records are intended to synchronize directly over encrypted connections between Amazon SP-API and each authorized seller's Odoo environment, without being routed through the TeqStars authorization service.
The customer's Odoo environment may be self-hosted or hosted by a provider selected by the customer, such as Odoo S.A. through Odoo.sh. The customer chooses and manages its hosting environment, subject to the applicable hosting terms. TeqStars and any infrastructure providers must apply the security and data-protection responsibilities relevant to the information they process.
Data Protection and Access
Amazon Information will be used only for authorized integration and related support purposes. TeqStars will protect authorization credentials using appropriate encryption, controlled access and secure transmission. Access to Amazon Information will be limited to authorized systems and personnel with a legitimate need. Amazon Information and credentials will not be sold or disclosed to unauthorized users or organizations. Access may be provided to necessary hosting or service providers subject to appropriate safeguards.
Data Retention, Revocation and Deletion
Amazon Information must be retained only for the permitted integration purpose or applicable legal, tax or regulatory obligations, and deleted when required by Amazon's Data Protection Policy or applicable law. Following revocation or termination of seller authorization, TeqStars will stop accessing the affected seller's Amazon data and will delete information under its control within applicable policy deadlines, except where lawful retention is required.
Marketplace records held in a customer-managed Odoo database remain within that customer's hosting environment. Customers are responsible for configuring and operating their environments, including appropriate access, backups and retention processes. The Connector is intended to support applicable retention and deletion workflows, and customer hosting does not remove any data-protection obligations applicable to TeqStars.
Customer Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
- Use the Connector only for seller accounts and information the customer is authorized to access.
- Maintain accurate Odoo configuration, appropriate user permissions and a secure hosting environment.
- Do not use the Connector to scrape Amazon data, bypass API limits or permissions, share another seller's information without authorization, or engage in unlawful or misleading activity.
- Comply with applicable Amazon seller terms, privacy and data-protection rules, and any relevant TeqStars software license or service agreement.
Amazon Policies
Use of Amazon SP-API is subject to Amazon's applicable Acceptable Use Policy, Data Protection Policy, and Solution Provider agreements and official policy information. Amazon determines and controls its own API access, permissions, terms and enforcement. The Connector is an independent TeqStars product and is not represented as endorsed or operated by Amazon.
Availability, Security and Support
Service availability depends on Amazon SP-API, the customer's Odoo hosting environment, network connectivity, and any authorization infrastructure. No specific uptime percentage is guaranteed by these Terms; any service-level commitment must be separately agreed in writing. TeqStars will use secure communication protocols for the authorization service and will maintain appropriate controls for systems under its management. Implementation, maintenance, support and other commercial arrangements will follow the applicable written agreement.
Changes, Suspension and Liability
TeqStars may update these Terms as the Connector and applicable requirements evolve. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate under the relevant agreement or applicable law. Access may be restricted or suspended where required for security, unauthorized use, legal obligations or Amazon policy compliance. Rights, remedies and any allocation of liability are governed by applicable law and the relevant TeqStars license or service agreement. These Terms do not override Amazon's rules.
