An Odoo PrestaShop integration connects a PrestaShop store to Odoo through the PrestaShop Webservice, so store orders arrive in Odoo as sale orders, stock levels go back to the store, and products are managed once and published from Odoo. What does an Odoo PrestaShop integration do?
It lets the store sell and Odoo run everything after the sale. Orders, customers and addresses come from PrestaShop into Odoo, where delivery, invoicing and accounting happen; stock levels and the order status go back to PrestaShop; and the catalog can be built in Odoo and published to the store.
Running a PrestaShop store while managing inventory, accounting and fulfilment in Odoo means doing the same work twice. Orders get re-keyed by hand, stock levels drift apart between the two systems, and by the time someone notices, you have already oversold a product.

What happens to a PrestaShop order in Odoo?
A store order passes through three stages, and each one hands its result to the next.
The order comes in
The order import job reads new and updated orders in the states you chose, and queues them. Each one becomes an Odoo sale order with its lines, shipping, discount, customer and both addresses.
Odoo runs the workflow
The order's payment method and state pick a workflow, which can confirm the order, create and validate the invoice, and register the payment in the right journal.
The store hears back
When the delivery is done in Odoo, the order status job, or the Update in Marketplace button on the delivery, sets the PrestaShop order to your fulfillment state.

How the Integration Works
The connector talks to your store through the PrestaShop Web Service using an API key you generate in the back office. Have these ready before the first sync:
- PrestaShop 1.7.x or 8.x with the Webservice turned on, and a key allowed to read products, orders, customers and stock, and to write products, combinations and stock
- Odoo Community or Enterprise, on-premise or on Odoo.sh: Odoo Online (Cloud) does not allow third-party apps to be installed, so the connector cannot run there
- A barcode (EAN13) or reference on every product and combination, so the two catalogs match
- Nothing on the PrestaShop side beyond the built-in web service and its key
Enable the Web Service
In PrestaShop, go to Advanced Parameters, then Webservice, and add a new key.
Create the Instance
Add your shop URL and API key in Odoo, then set language, currency and warehouse. Confirm checks the key's permissions and lists any that are missing.
Import Your Data
Run categories, brands, products and orders from a single wizard.
Turn On Automation
Enable scheduled actions and the two systems keep themselves aligned.

Where the PrestaShop integration stops
A good fit when
- Orders are fulfilled, invoiced and accounted in Odoo.
- Odoo holds the stock and should keep the store's quantities right.

Look at it again when
- Refunds or credit slips must go back to PrestaShop: they stay in Odoo.
- Tracking numbers must appear in PrestaShop: the order status is sent, not the tracking number.
- One PrestaShop installation runs several shops in multistore mode: each connection uses the main shop.
- A cancellation in Odoo must cancel the store order by itself: use the Cancel In PrestaShop button.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Odoo integrate with PrestaShop?
Not out of the box: Odoo has no built-in PrestaShop connector. An Odoo app such as the TeqStars Odoo PrestaShop Integration adds it, importing store orders into Odoo, exporting stock and products to PrestaShop, and sending the order status back, all through the PrestaShop Webservice.
Do I need to install anything on my PrestaShop store?
No. There is no PrestaShop-side module or plugin. You enable the built-in web service and generate a key, and everything else runs from Odoo.
What happens if one product fails to import?
That record is skipped and an error log is created, then the queue continues with the rest. You also get an activity alert so the failure does not go unnoticed.
Does the PrestaShop order status change when I ship in Odoo?
Yes. Once the delivery is validated in Odoo, the order status job, or the Update in Marketplace button on the delivery, sets the PrestaShop order to the fulfillment state chosen on the instance, such as Shipped.
Can I migrate from PrestaShop to Odoo with this connector?
It moves the data a migration starts with: products and combinations, categories, brands, images and orders, with their customers, into Odoo. It is built to keep PrestaShop running next to Odoo, so moving the storefront itself to Odoo eCommerce is a separate project.
How does the connector match PrestaShop products with Odoo products?
By the setting Sync Listings Based On: the barcode (EAN13), the reference (SKU), or either one. A product that matches more than one Odoo product, or a store product with a duplicate code, is stopped and logged instead of guessed.
