A fit-gap analysis checks each of your requirements against standard Odoo and records how it will be met. We ask four questions, always in this order, and stop at the first yes. TeqStars maintains more than 100 Odoo apps, so many gaps close with an app that already exists, which costs less than a custom build and keeps getting updates.

How much does an Odoo consultant cost?

What is an Odoo fit-gap analysis?
It is a list of your requirements, each checked against standard Odoo and marked as standard, configuration, existing app or custom development, with the effort for each. It shows how much of your process Odoo covers out of the box, what has to be built and what that will cost, before you commit to a project.
What is the difference between Odoo consulting and Odoo implementation?
Consulting decides what to do: which apps, which settings, what to build and in what order. Implementation does it: configures Odoo, moves your data, trains your users and takes you live. Odoo implementation can follow on the same plan, with the same team.
Do I need a functional or a technical Odoo consultant?
A functional consultant works on your processes, Odoo settings and user training. A technical consultant works on custom modules, integrations, data migration and performance. Most projects need both, and at TeqStars both sit on one team with the developers who build our Odoo apps.
Should we choose Odoo Community or Odoo Enterprise?
It depends on the apps you need. Community is free and runs on your own server. Enterprise adds apps such as full Accounting, Studio, Helpdesk, Field Service and Barcode, the upgrade service from Odoo, and hosting on Odoo Online or Odoo.sh. We recommend one from your app list and budget.
Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or our own server: which hosting fits?
Odoo Online is the simplest, but it runs standard Odoo only, with no custom modules and no apps from the Odoo Apps Store. Odoo.sh runs Enterprise with your own modules from Git. Your own server, on premises or in the cloud, gives full control over Community or Enterprise. If your plan includes custom modules or TeqStars apps, the choice is Odoo.sh or your own server.
Can you review an Odoo setup that is already live?
Yes. We start from what your team needs Odoo to do and check how far the live setup is from it, down to the custom code. If a project has stalled, the audit tells you what to fix first and what to leave alone.
Do you work with businesses outside India?
Yes. Our customer stories come from the United States, Spain, Germany, Belgium and Colombia, and our apps sell worldwide on the Odoo Apps Store. The team works Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST, by Teams, Google Chat, email, phone or support ticket.
